Garmin Announces Heart Rate Monitoring for Swimmers & Triathletes. Garmin HRM-Tri.

Hey everyone. Great news as I get this inquiry a lot! As you guys know, if there's a heart rate tracker available, get one to accompany your activity band/app. (Polar, Garmin, Runkeeper) Chest straps has been the most accurate real-time measurement for me versus the ones on the wrist. I personally use the Polar H7 at the moment, but have used Garmin's own chest strap as well. Both worked nearly identical with 1 heart beat deviation from each other.
As of yesterday, Garmin announced chest straps designed for triathletes and swimmers, dubbed HRM-Tri and HRM-Swim respectively.
Here's a snippet from the press release.
Garmin states these will start shipping 3rd quarter of this year with somewhat of a pricey price tag in my opinion. A suggested retail price of $129.99 and $99.99 for the HRM-Tri and HRM-Swim respectively. You can bundle the two for $199.99.
