Audio Engine Gets a new VP of Sales & Marketing. Prior gig: TIDAL

Audio Engine just announced their newest talent to their team.
David Solomon will assume the role of VP of Global Sales and Marketing.
But what's more interesting is the short time Solomon has been with TIDAL MUSIC.
If Tidal sounds like faint white noise, its Jay Z's entry into the music streaming business, similar to the likes of Apple Music, Spotify, and Pandora services. However, the uniqueness of TIDAL offers Hi Fidelity Music Streaming backed by some of the biggest artists in the music industry.
TIDAL is no question a niche service, and unfortunately upon launch, had a few hiccups along the way.
From the awkward introduction on stage, to Kanye West mysteriously deleting his tweets and endorsement for Tidal, later to return in promoting the brand. The service is interesting and I can see where it fulfills the void of those with more particular ears, but main-stream, the average consumer like myself still enjoys Pandora and IHeartRadio very much. Its free. =)
But looking at David Solomon's profile, he's not an old asset to the company prior to Tidal. Matter of fact, Solomon has only been with Tidal for 10month's per his Linkedin public profile. It does make me curious to know what else is further going on at Tidal.
With Solomon's background working in mostly the audio and music streaming business, this obviously is a nice benefit to Audio Engine. Solomon is co-founder and was VP of sales at PeachTree Audio, with additional experiences in roles at Hi Fi Buys and Kevro/Monitor Audio.
